The John Smith's Stadium has an official car park, which can be accessed via the following routes:
- From M62 west - Exit M62 at Junction 24, follow signs for Huddersfield Town Centre (A629). After approximately two miles, follow the signs for the stadium, turning left onto Castlegate ring road and then left onto Leeds Road (A62)
- From M62 east/north - Exit M62 at Junction 25, turn left and follow signs for Huddersfield Town Centre (A62), following the signs for the official car park
- From M1 south - Exit at Junction 42 and continue west on M62. Exit M62 at Junction 25, turn left and follow signs for Huddersfield Town Centre (A62) and the official car park signs
