But Arteta said: "There are five matches to go in this league, anything can happen. We have to believe."

Arteta bemoaned his side's slow start at the Etihad Stadium and his team's inability to win their individual battles.
"We were nowhere near our level, especially in the first half," he added.
"You have to start competing and winning your duels, and all the very basic things.
"The way we were in the first 20 or 30 minutes, they were on top of us and we could not handle that situation."
